A project of the U.S. Travel Association, the Power of Travel Coalition is the grassroots army defending and strengthening the American travel community.
We are the more than 10 million individuals whose jobs depend on a strong travel industry, from hotel and rental car employees to theme park and cruise line workers, tour operators, meeting planners, and restaurant staff.
A strong travel economy means stronger local economies and more jobs. For that reason, the Power of Travel Coalition works with employees to champion, protect and improve travel and tourism.
U.S. Travel Association
The U.S. Travel Association is the national, non-profit organization representing all components of the $704 billion travel industry. Power of Travel
Power of Travel was created by the U.S. Travel Association for the good of the American travel community as an information rich online hub to inform visitors of travel’s impact on the U.S. workforce and economy. The Power of Travel web portal provides research that shows the importance of travel and tourism including employment, payroll figures, tax receipts and the non-economic benefits of travel. This data is available for all 435 congressional districts.

The Power of Travel Coalition is the grassroots army of the American travel community. The Coalition seeks to amplify the voices of millions of travel employees with a vested interest in combating future assaults, rewarding leaders who champion our industry, and advocating for policies that promote travel to and within the United States.
